Carlos Camacho is the President of the Mayni producers, and a remarkable individual who has spearheaded the quality program for the community. With an unwavering commitment to quality, Carlos has crafted a micro-lot that is truly exceptional. This micro-lot offers a beautiful cup brimming with notes of honey, plum, and caramel. What sets it apart is the special honey process used in its production. The coffee cherries have been meticulously milled, while the parchment coffee is dried with the sticky, sugary juice still intact. This results in a rich, sweet and complex cup.

In the rolling foothills of the Amazon rainforest, about six hours drive from the nearest town of Satipo in Eastern Peru, live a beautiful, isolated community who grow incredible coffee beneath the forest canopy. Amidst a vibrant tapestry of foliage and wildlife, The Mayni harness their natural landscape while protecting the ecosystem that surrounds them, ensuring the delicate balance between fauna and flora remains undisturbed.
