Rusizi River

The Abakundakawa co-operative in the Northern province of Rwanda has over 1900 member farmers. Our coffee is named after the Rusizi river which serves the Rushashi washing station. The coffees grow on the rich volcanic soils approximately 1800 – 2000 meters above sea level. The coffee is sundried on raised african beds.
